MESA COMMUNITY SACRED FIRE
Saturday October 15th
5:30 pm Potluck - Note earlier start time
6:30 Community Sacred Fire
The Time of Transition has arrived which marks the fall season with the thinning of the mysterious veil that draws a line between this world and the worlds beyond. We call it All Hallows Eve, Halloween, Samhain, Day of the Dead, Fall. Now our inclination is to turn inward and become more reflective. The cooler air, shorter days, and the leaves falling to the ground beckons a slowing down from the intense pace that the summer season had evoked.

Sitting with the fire is the most natural thing a human can do, especially as autumn blows in its crisp air. Humans require connection -- fire provides the vehicle for connection to happen.

Please join us to honor the season of slowing down and introspection.

Sacred Fires are attracting people to come together across the globe bringing us out of the growing isolation. The Mesa Community Fire is part of a larger web.  Community Fires have been held in Grand Junction and Mesa since 2004.

“Our commitment to you is to provide a sacred space for all people of many walks of life to come together.  No matter what political, social, religious, gender and/or race you may identify with, you are welcome at the Fire.”

Please join us! Bring your friends. We look forward to each third Saturday of the month to sit around the Sacred Fire with you.
