Comment faciliter leur accès aux chercheurs tout en préservant les droits des personnes et la validité scientifique des travaux ? Les entrepôts de données de santé hospitaliers se multiplient et les collaborations internationales sont devenues la norme. Pour sa part, l’Inserm s’est vu octroyer par décret en date du 19 juin 2021, un accès permanent au Système National des Données de Santé (SNDS) centralisé par le Health Data Hub (HDH), lui-même hébergé par le cloud Azure de la société Microsoft. « En Suisse , les professionnels francophones, qui produisent depuis quelques années leurs notices bibliographiques dans 3 systèmes informatiques distincts, ont fait un choix politique fort : utiliser un fichier d’autorité commun, à savoir IdRef.
Ainsi, depuis le 2 octobre 2022, le réseau Renouvaud, de même que les deux autres réseaux suisses de catalogage francophone RERO+ et SLSP, produit ses données de référence dans IdRef sous la coordination de RERO+, chef d’orchestre qui met en musique ces 3 réseaux de catalogage partagé pour les autorités. Sous la houlette de la Bibliothèque cantonale et universitaire de Lausanne, Renouvaud, le réseau vaudois des bibliothèques regroupe 144 bibliothèques et donne accès à plusieurs millions de documents physiques et numériques, qu’il s’agisse de collections universitaires ou de celles des bibliothèques communales et scolaires. « Pour mettre la science ouverte en pratique : suivez les guides !
En ces mois de rentrée, le ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche publie un ensemble de guides destinés à outiller les chercheuses et les chercheurs dans leurs pratiques de science ouverte.
Un premier guide, fruit du travail du collège Publications du Comité pour la science ouverte, donne les clés pour Mettre en œuvre la stratégie de non-cession des droits sur les publications scientifiques. Définie par la cOAlition S, qui regroupe 28 agences de financement de la recherche en Europe et dans le monde, cette stratégie permet aux chercheuses et aux chercheurs de conserver suffisamment de droits sur leurs articles scientifiques pour les mettre à disposition en accès ouvert immédiat, quel que soit le modèle de diffusion de la revue dans laquelle ils sont publiés.
Autre nouveauté, le désormais classique Passeport pour la science ouverte se décline sous forme d’une collection, fruit d’un partenariat avec l’Université de Lille et des travaux du collège Compétences et formation. Le livret Science ouverte – Codes et logiciels aborde les enjeux particuliers de l’ouverture des codes et logiciels produits et utilisés dans le cadre de la recherche scientifique. (…)

« (…) In this paper, we aim to analyze the available online tools and checklists for data FAIRness evaluation and to provide tool comparison based on multiple features. Taking into account this analysis and tools advantages and disadvantages, we provide recommendations about the tools usage. A FAIRness practical evaluation is also conducted on seven data sets from different data repositories using the analysed tools. Findings show that there are no commonly accepted requirements evaluation of data FAIRness. The conclusions of this study could be used for further improvement of the FAIRness criteria design and making FAIR feasible in daily practice. (…) »

« In this paper, the platform CALLISTO (CALmip Launches an Interface for a Semantic Toolbox Online, https://callisto.calmip.univ-toulouse.fr/) is presented, aiming at open science construction around semantic description of scientific data, software and papers. This work aims tackling the needs for a fine-grained description of multi-disciplinary scientific collaborations, from data creation to cross-fertilization. A framework for hosting comprehensive and semantic metadata for multi-disciplinary scientific teams is proposed. The platform provides a user-friendly online interface for data description, browsing and access. « The project OPERAS-PLUS has received 2,7 million EUR through Horizon Europe to support the further development of OPERAS in its preparatory phase and on its way towards implementation. OPERAS is the Research Infrastructure dedicated to support open scholarly communication for Social Sciences and Humanities in the European Research Area. The project officially kicked-off on September 1, 2022 and it will run for 36 months.
OPERAS was selected in 2021 as new infrastructure on the ESFRI Roadmap for the excellence of its scientific case and for its strategic importance for the European Research Area and the structuring of the European research infrastructure ecosystem.
The OPERAS-PLUS project will work towards 4 main objectives:
- develop and strengthen OPERAS governance structure, especially financial, legal, and human resource management aspects of the infrastructure central hub
- support the establishment and development of OPERAS national node
- develop OPERAS portfolio of service
- maximise OPERAS’ impact in the ERA and at international level by extending it beyond its current scope and onboarding new members and countries in the infrastructure. (…) »
