Hey friends!
I am just back from a wonderful weekend away in the mountains with six of my best friends from high school. And let me tell you...
...It was the BEST.
I don't remember the last time I relaxed like that! When I travel with my kids, it's always awesome, but I'd certainly never call it relaxing. And I've traveled a bunch for work this year, but again... exciting, but not exactly relaxing.
This was the first trip in about a gazillion years where I kicked back and did a whole lot of beautiful nothing.
(My view this weekend. Fall is my favorite!)
Our only goal was to chill out next to the beautiful lake pictured above as much as humanly possible. And we crushed that goal.
Now I'm back, refreshed, and ready to tackle the enormous amount of work and logistics the next few weeks hold.
At the tippy top of that list is getting all of the final preparations in order for my trip to Las Vegas.
In two weeks I'm trading fall foliage for this view...
(something tells me this weekend will be a different speed)
I'm attending the LoveNVegas Book Event on Saturday October 29th where I'll be signing my buns off.
Then the following day on Sunday October 30th we are unleashing a whole lot of comedy and silliness on Planet Hollywood with Erin Mallon's These Walls Can Talk Vegas Marathon.
This is an epic all-day performance marathon of my These Walls Can Talk series, featuring some of the best audiobook narrators in the biz live and in the flesh! You know how you always hear these awesome performers in your headphones and have to imagine their gestures and facial expressions? Well, no more! You're going to see it all baby!

I couldn't be happier that I get to play with these awesome people soon and share the fun with such a big, passionate audience! Creating this whole series has been a non-stop joy and it always warms my heart hearing that listeners enjoy the audios so much.
