MCAT Registration Schedule for January through June 2023 Dates
You can begin scheduling MCAT appointments on Oct. 25 and 26. We will open registration for test centers in part of the United States and some international locations on Oct. 25 at noon ET, and in all remaining test center locations on Oct. 26 at noon ET.
Please visit our website to view which locations open on each date to confirm which day you can schedule your exam.
- If you have received approved accommodations, please call Pearson VUE at 1-800-466-0450 now and select option 3 to submit your scheduling request. You do not need to wait until registration opens on Oct. 25 to submit your request.

Save Time Scheduling your Exam
Fill out the first five tabs of information in the MCAT Registration System before opening day. It will save you about 5-10 minutes on opening day and will take you straight to scheduling when you log in. Learn more in this brief video about the registration system.
What to Expect on Registration Opening Day
More examinees schedule an exam on the opening day of MCAT registration than on any other day, especially in the first few hours.
When the system first opens, you can expect a longer line with wait times of one hour or more.
The good news is we have a waiting room that will hold your place in line and include an estimated wait time until it’s your turn to register. This means you don’t need to wait by your computer while you’re in the waiting room. Learn more about the waiting room and how it works.
Important Waiting Room and Scheduling Tips
- There is no advantage to logging into the registration system more than 10 minutes before noon on registration day. At 11:50 a.m. ET, the system will randomly assign anyone already logged in with a place in line to register.
- Don’t open multiple browsers or refresh your waiting room page. This will not give you an advantage and may result in a longer wait time for you.
- Please don’t share your waiting room Queue-it ID with others. It can bump you out of the system, put you in the back of the waiting line, and can cause scheduling delays.
- Watch this video to learn more about the Waiting Room.
