Registration for 2023 MCAT exam dates will open next week! If you plan to schedule your exam on opening day for January through June 2023 dates, please read these important reminders so that you are ready and know what to expect.

MCAT Registration Schedule for January through June 2023 Dates
You can begin scheduling MCAT appointments on Oct. 25 and 26. We will open registration for test centers in part of the United States and some international locations on Oct. 25 at noon ET, and in all remaining test center locations on Oct. 26 at noon ET.

Please visit our website to view which locations open on each date to confirm which day you can schedule your exam.
Watch the MCAT 2023 Registration Webinar
If you missed our Registration Opening webinar on Oct. 6, you can now view the recording to learn more about registration, the 2023 testing year, MCAT prep, and more.

Save Time Scheduling your Exam
Fill out the first five tabs of information in the MCAT Registration System before opening day. It will save you about 5-10 minutes on opening day and will take you straight to scheduling when you log in. Learn more in this brief video about the registration system

What to Expect on Registration Opening Day
More examinees schedule an exam on the opening day of MCAT registration than on any other day, especially in the first few hours.

When the system first opens, you can expect a longer line with wait times of one hour or more.

The good news is we have a waiting room that will hold your place in line and include an estimated wait time until it’s your turn to register. This means you don’t need to wait by your computer while you’re in the waiting room. Learn more about the waiting room and how it works.

Important Waiting Room and Scheduling Tips
  • There is no advantage to logging into the registration system more than 10 minutes before noon on registration day. At 11:50 a.m. ET, the system will randomly assign anyone already logged in with a place in line to register.

  • Don’t open multiple browsers or refresh your waiting room page. This will not give you an advantage and may result in a longer wait time for you.

  • Please don’t share your waiting room Queue-it ID with others. It can bump you out of the system, put you in the back of the waiting line, and can cause scheduling delays.

  • Watch this video to learn more about the Waiting Room

New: AAMC MCAT Official Prep Free Practice Exam
We have released a new, free, full-length practice exam with a scaled score and percentile rank to help you study. The Free Practice Exam has 230 questions from previously administered MCAT exams with the same look, feel, functionality, scaled score, and percentile rank as an actual exam. Check it out at https://offers.aamc.org/free-practice-exam.

AAMC Fee Assistance Program Reminder
If you are interested in applying to the Fee Assistance Program, please allow at least 10 business days for your application to be reviewed. As a reminder, Fee Assistance Program benefits are not retroactive. You don’t have to schedule your exam when the system opens on Oct. 25 and 26! You can schedule a January-June exam at any time after Oct 25. Learn more about the benefits and application process at www.aamc.org/fap.

PHD's Peer Engagement and Enrichment Program (PEEP) is a graduate pipeline program for undocumented students pursuing health professions. The program's design supports students with complex immigration statuses such as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Temporary Protective Status. Participants pursue health-related programs such as medical school, physical therapy, nursing, etc. Each profession has barriers: background checks, restrictive admission requirements, and inequitable support in schools.

PEEP shapes and trains competitive applicants to break barriers that undocumented students face. Our program focuses on empowerment, self-advocacy, story-sharing, and professional skills.

Join us for an online information session (or student panel) on the UCSF PharmD degree program! The goal of these sessions are to provide prospective students with an overview of our program while allowing time for questions and answers.
