Cyclists Needed for Research
into
Performance Benefits of Blackcurrant Extract

Cycling Research Participants needed!!

Keen to have your VO2 max measured for free?

We need both male and female cyclists who are over 16 years of age to help us see if there are any performance benefits from an acute dose of Blackcurrant extract.

Blackcurrant extract has been shown to improve cycling performance, but this is usually after a minimum of 7 days of supplementation. We are exploring the effects of acute vs chronic blackcurrant powder supplementation to see if a single dose pre-exercise helps cycling performance.

You will get gold-standard lab based VO2 max and FTP data by being part of the study. All testing sessions are in Hamilton and the research is being conducted by the University of Auckland.

If you, or anyone you know, may be interested please contact Lill Morton on 0275190374 or at lmor272@aucklanduni.ac.nz
