We’re holding a Community Asset Fund Workshop on Friday 21st October from 1pm at The Boulevard Centre, 45 Railway Road, Blackburn BB1 1EZ.
💸 The Fund offers grants of between £500 and £2000.
💸 The main focus is to fund grassroots volunteer-led community groups which support the recovery community.
💸 These groups can be constituted or unconstituted.
💸 The project must support recovery from substance or alcohol misuse.

The next meeting of the Community CVS Network will take place on Thursday 27th October from 9.30 to 11.30am in the Community Hub, 35 Railway Road, Blackburn BB1 1EZ.

📢 Rebecca Royce from South Pennines Park; and
📢 Lynne Goodacre from the BwD Food Alliance.
There will, of course, be plenty of scope for networking and learning from other delegates from a wide variety of cross-sector organisations.

We're delighted to announce that the Blackburn with Darwen Community Fund will continue to be there to support you and your projects throughout 2022 and 2023.

The Fund offers £500 to run the proposed activities and/or £500 to purchase equipment to help your group deliver its activities.

The next deadline is that of Round 7, on Monday 31st October at 12 noon. The panel will meet on Wednesday 9th November.

Please note that, for Round 7, whilst we will accept applications that cover all normal priorities, we would be particularly pleased to receive applications that will help with the cost of living crisis over the Christmas/winter period.

Great Places is committed to investing in communities and helping customers to live well. With more of their customers affected by the rising cost of living, they are delighted to launch the Greater Together Foundation Resilience Fund which will focus on community-based initiatives that support people to take control of their household finances and get through the cost of living crisis.

The Greater Together Foundation has officially launched and funds of between £1000 and £25000 can be applied for from the Resilience Fund.

We offer free and friendly help to enable you to 'get online' or get help with basic internet skills– whether it is to search and apply for jobs, get an email address, sort out bills and banking, or access benefits and support. Action for Jobs
If you want a helping hand to learn new skills, get more confidence, become a volunteer to gain experience, access training and get a job, contact us to join our Action for Jobs Project. Call us or send us an e-mail. If you're in Darwen, Miffy Clegg holds a drop in every Wednesday at Café Hub from 11am to 2pm. Contact Miffy to learn more.
Fast 4wd

Community Asset Fund
