Dear Families,

It was so great to see you at Fall Fest on Friday night! Thank you to our incredible PTO team for putting on such an incredible event. Also, thank you to everyone who volunteered. Whether setting up a booth, running a booth, handling ticketing, or any of the other plethora of ways that you supported, we are so appreciative of your support and help to create such an incredible evening of fun for the students.

We are looking forward to a great week ahead. It's Red Ribbon Week, which means that each day we will have a different spirit day theme to celebrate healthy living. A calendar of the themes can be found below. Our Fall Conferences also kick off this Thursday and Friday. We are really looking forward to sharing with you about your Explorer's progress this year and hearing more from you about how to best support them in their learning the rest of the year. As a reminder, Thursday and Friday are Early Release Days for us to be able to hold the conferences. Dismissal will be at 12:30 each of those days.

Let's have an amazing week!

Sincerely,

Mike

Mike Stewart
Principal
EARLY RELEASE REMINDER:
All students will be dismissed at 12:30PM on Thursday and Friday this week for Caregiver Conferences.

News from the Executive Director
The Museum School was recently selected to join a cohort of Georgia schools that are planning for replication and expansion. We are participating in an information-only capacity at this time, as we are not quite ready to commit to specific expansion or replication. This article offers some more details.

We hosted visitors from Bellwether Education on Thursday, as part of this program. This group works with schools to identify their "secret sauce" as they consider expanding the impact of their model. We will keep you updated on their findings and recommendations!

Thank you for your support.

Hospitality & Spirit Wear

We need a few volunteers to help with some specific PTO Committees.  If you have flexibility and like organizing parties, people, and snacks- we need you as our Hospitality Chair.  If you like to shop and pick out clothing designs- this position might be for you: Spirit Wear Lead.  As spirit wear lead, you will work with the PTO and TMS faculty representatives to select a vendor and spirit wear items for TMS families to purchase.  If either of these interest you, or you'd like more information, please email TMS.PTO@themuseumschool.org

PTO Family Directory

In an effort to make sure we get you timely information from your TMS Room Leads and PTO, we have created a Google Form to collect Parent Contact Information that can be shared with TMS Families agreeing to participate.  If you would like to be part of the shared directory, please complete the TMS Family Directory Form.  You will be able to choose whether your information is shared for just PTO information or in the directory for all participants.
