Those hot, slow, and humid summer months are drifting by giving way to the excitement of high season to begin. The energy in town is shifting and everyone is getting ready for a busy season ahead. New businesses are starting, and we can't wait to see all the happenings in Sayulita.
Everyone's favorite spooky month is upon us. For some of us, that means celebrating Halloween; for others, it's the preparation for the spectacle that is 'Día de Los Muertos' which will take place over the first few days of November.
Sayulita Life will be handing out a special prize to the Muertos Altar contest winner in the Sayulita plaza.
With every issue of the El Sayulero that we send out, we strive to share a piece of our paradise with you. |

| Recipients of Sayulita Life’s October Donation: Sayulita Jaguars Soccer Team |
Sayulita life’s $5000 donation will go to the Sayulita Jaguars, a local children's soccer team. The donation will help fund their much-awaited game coming up in November.
The Jaguars are looking forward to attending the soccer tournament held in Mazatlan, Sinaloa. The children’s team will be hosting a "kermes" on the 8th of October to collect donations that will help cover all the costs associated with the tournament. The donations that they receive now are going towards the organization of the "kermes" event. 20 businesses have already signed up to donate items such as food, clothing, and cash. Read More |

| Enzo Ackermann a young local Sayulita resident has created the brilliant Agua Libre Foundation, a water refill station that allows for free clean water refills. Festival Dia de Los Muertos

| Dia de Los Muertos is approaching and this year it looks like there's quite a lineup. This is one of the most beautiful festivities of the year here in Mexico, though the theme is death it in fact is a giant celebration of life, in an explosion of color and life-affirming joy. | Batala San Pancho will be joined by Batala drummers from around the world for the Sayulita Dia de Los Muertos parade on the 31st Oct. Over 100 drummers will perform under the direction of Batala founder Giba Concalves. Batala is a world music project with 47 bands around the world all playing Afro-Brazilian Samba Reggae music by Maestro Giba. |
