Hello, Faith Family!
Have you ever heard the phrase, “the days are long but the years are short”? Sometime between high school graduation and your early twenties the transition from short days and long years to long days and short years happens. And before you know it – 20 years has slipped right by you! That’s where I find myself this week. Today I’m in Alabama getting ready to attend my 20 year high school reunion. A lot has happened in those 20 years. Most all of these people I haven’t even talked to. I am going back a different man than when I left. I left as a broken, insecure, wandering, empty boy with no real purpose or future but I’m going back rooted and grounded in Christ, filled with God’s Holy Spirit, living God’s dreams for my life, and with purpose running through my veins. Thanks be to our great God!
I came to faith in Christ within a year of graduating and as I reflect on 20 years of walking with Jesus, I give God thanks for His faithfulness to me, for His transforming power in me and Spirit-guided work through me. I thank God that I’m not who I once was and I praise God that I’m not who I always will be! There is more formation into the likeness of Jesus yet to be had. The story isn’t over – it’s only just begun.
How about you? As you reflect on the past 20 years, are you more secure, rooted, and grounded in Christ? Are you more hope-filled and whole? Are you living with God’s purposes in a life of intention? Let’s live today in a way that we want to be proud of 10, 15, 20 years from now!

Our next chance to share God’s love with the students and families from Cascade Middle School is coming at Thanksgiving time. Through our partnership with One Hope, we are able to provide Thanksgiving meal boxes for families in need for $40. If you would like to purchase a meal box for a Cascade family, click here and mark your gift "meal boxes."
We will deliver meal boxes on Tuesday, November 22nd. Boxes will be available for pick-up between 3-5 pm from our Downtown campus and should be delivered by 8:00 pm. If you would like to help deliver boxes, click here to sign up.

All senior adults are invited to the Fairfield Fellowship Hall on Friday, 11/11 at 11:00 am for a potluck and program to honor our veterans.
Please bring one side dish to share. Chicken, baked beans, rolls, dessert and coffee will be provided
