ICYMI: Fetterman Criss Crosses Pennsylvania in Packed Final 10 Days

Braddock, PA --  In a jam-packed final 10 days, Fetterman has criss-crossed the state, getting in front of thousands of Pennsylvanians at rallies, canvass launches, and community discussions. On Saturday alone, Fetterman spoke to 15,000 Pennsylvanian across two rallies. In the closing week, Fetterman has appeared with dozens of local leaders, members of Congress, U.S. Senators, labor leaders, and even U.S. presidents. 

Fetterman has held events in a dozen counties in the final ten days: Philadelphia, Erie, Dauphin, Cumberland, Centre, Luzerne, Lehigh, Montco, Delco, Allegheny, Bucks, and Chester. 

PHILADELPHIA
Fetterman kicked off a busy Halloween Weekend in Philadelphia with a canvass launch with union leaders, DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison, U.S. Senator Cory Booker, and Congressmen Dwight Evans and Brendan Boyle. He then headed to West Philly to kickoff a motorcade on the FetterMobile. He delivered remarks alongside Sen. Booker, State Sen. Vincent Hughes, State Rep. Morgan Cephas, and Philadelphia City Councilmember Curtis Jones. 

Fetterman then delivered remarks at the 4th District Container Village in West Philadelphia – a previously vacant lot on the corner of 49th Street and Parkside Avenue that has since been transformed into an outdoor mall and business hub. 

Fetterman then rallied with Philadelphia Council President Darrell L. Clarke, State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta and over 300 voters at Temple University in North Philadelphia, before joining an interfaith Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) event sponsored by the Pennsylvania Democrats, PA Democratic Black Caucus, and United We Stand in Philadelphia. 

The packed day concluded with Fetterman delivering remarks at the Philadelphia Friends of Labor charity dinner with labor leaders, local elected officials, and about 600 guests. 

Fetterman returned to Philadelphia this past weekend for a rally with Attorney General Josh Shapiro, President Joe Biden, and President Barack Obama, and 7,500 supporters.  

Then on Monday, Fetterman kicked off the day before election day with a canvas kickoff in NW Philadelphia with Congressman Dwight Evans. 


 

HARRISBURG
Fetterman also traveled to Harrisburg where he delivered remarks on the importance of the union way of life and the stakes of the race at a canvass kickoff at AFSCME Hall with 280 supporters and volunteers. 

Fetterman returned to Harrisburg later in the week to hold a community discussion with Rep. Patty Kim on the stakes of the election. 


 

ERIE
Fetterman was in Erie, a critical bellwether county in the Northwest corner of the state, on Tuesday, exactly one week before election day, where he sat down with Erie Dems Black Caucus Selena King for a community discussion on the stakes of the election and issues that Pennsylvanians care about, from abortion rights to rising costs. 


CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Fetterman spoke to a packed room of supporters and volunteers in Cumberland County, a county that Trump won by 10 points in 2020. He thanked the attendees for the work they’ve done in this election and spoke about the importance of winning this Senate seat. 


 

CENTRE COUNTY (PENN STATE)
Fetterman headed to Centre County on Wednesday where he and Gisele visited Penn State Berkey Creamery. Fetterman then delivered remarks at a rally with the Democratic nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, AG Josh Shapiro and Rep. Austin Davis, as well as local leaders, and hundreds of students. 


 

LUZERNE COUNTY
Fetterman kicked off his Thursday in Wilkes-Barre with Senator Bob Casey for a community discussion focused on fighting for working families, lowering costs, and raising the minimum wage.


 

LEHIGH COUNTY
Fetterman then traveled to Whitehall in the Lehigh Valley for a GOTV canvass kickoff at Teamster Local 773. 

Later, John and Gisele stopped by Yocco’s Hotdogs in Allentown.

Fetterman returned to Allentown again on Monday, the day before election day, for a canvass kickoff with Congresswoman Susan Wild.


MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Fetterman held a rally with Rep. Madeleine Dean at IBEW Local Union 98 North in Collegeville, Montgomery County, where he turned out 600 enthusiastic supporters, despite the Phillies playing in Game 5 of the World Series and the Eagles game that evening.


DELAWARE COUNTY
The day after rallying in Montco with Rep. Dean, Fetterman continued his swing through the Philadelphia collar counties holding a community discussion in Delaware County with Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon. 

Fetterman and Scanlon spoke about several key issues that Pennsylvanians are facing, including abortion rights, crime, and democracy. The two also discussed the political significance of the purple Philadelphia suburbs. 


 

ALLEGHENY COUNTY 
Fetterman, joined by former president Barack Obama, today turned out a capacity crowd of 6,500 enthusiastic supporters, plus 1,000 overflow supporters at Schenley Plaza in Pittsburgh. 

Pres. Obama and Fetterman were joined by DNC Chairman Jamie Harrison, congressional candidates Summer Lee and Chris DeLuzio, Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey, President of the Allegheny-Fayette Central Labor Council Darrin Kelly, and State Senator Lindsey Williams. Brother Shealey delivered the invocation.


 

BUCKS COUNTY
Fetterman closed out the final weekend of the campaign joining Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Rep. Austin Davis in Bucks County for a GOTV rally with over 700 supporters.


 

CHESTER COUNTY 
On the eve of the election, Fetterman joined the USW Local 1165 to kickoff a labor canvass in Coatesville, Chester County.
