Dear CustOMER,
Melanie and I recently toured Tasmania in a camper van. One of the highlights was driving along the north-west coast, and while we were there we looked in on artist friends Nerissa Lea and Reg Lynch who are living in Wynyard. We had recently launched a collection of designs by another Reg; so I felt inspired to suggest the same to new Reg.
Today you get to enjoy the fruits of that collaboration: Reg Lynch at REMO
Reg is an acclaimed illustrator, cartoonist and artist who has designed for a broad variety of publications and projects; including long, permanent-casual periods drawing for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Independent Monthly and The Bulletin. He also makes and exhibits paintings and sculptures, is an occasional curator of group shows and was for a while a lecturer in Image Making. He has lived in Tasmania since 2011.
Reg's gently surreal and witty launch selection:
1. Hurdler. What's wrong with this picture?
2. Balloon. What's wrong with THIS picture?
3. Scope. Who's looking at whom?
4. Einstein's Theory of Relatives. Predicted to be a big seller!
5. Emergency Exit. Katie's favourite.
6. Spanner Man. Think about it and loosen up.
7. Handymen. We've all been there.
8. Scissors. Love this design.
Joining Reg's new designs this week are two new designs from Original Reg (Mombassa):
1. Red Sedan on the M1. Founder's new favourite.
2. Australian Robot. Fabulous and ferrous.
We are deep into November. It's time for you to start ordering gifts. We've been doing it ourselves in Bondi. It's fun to match designs with the people you need to buy for.
Cheers,
|
