Christmas Parade!
All are welcome to join us Sunday, December 4 (time and parking location TBD) as we once again march in the Taunton Christmas Parade. The parade theme this year is Christmas Around the World, we will have a North Pole Float, and folks (kids, youth, and adults) are encouraged to dress as elves, snowmen, reindeer, candy canes, or Christmas Trees (we are not allowed to dress as Santa), As always we will be handing out candy to the crowd so if anyone would like to donate some it would be most appreciated.

All Ages Christmas No-Rehearsal Pageant - Rehearsal
Our no-rehearsal pageant is great because everyone can participate right from their seats and without having to learn any lines. That being said, we always have a few folks who like to dress up and really act out a part. If this sounds like something you or your kids might enjoy, please join me Sunday, Dec. 11, after service for a quick run-through of the story and part selection. Anyone who wants to participate in a costume part may wear their costumes to church the following Sunday. We encourage people to make their costumes from things they already have at home, no need to buy anything.
All Ages Christmas Pageant and Santa Service
This year on Sunday, December 18, during service, we will be performing an interactive, no-rehearsal (one rehearsal for anyone who wants a dress-up part) Holiday Pageant: A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
The wonderful advantage of this type of pageant is that EVERYONE can participate: kids, youth, and adults alike, as there are no lines to memorize!!
Here's How It Works: on Sunday morning, as people arrive for service, I will hand out props and a copy of the story to all those who want to participate. As I tell the story, participants will hold up and/or stand up with their props and/or act their parts out.
Outdoor Winter Solstice Service
All are invited to join us Wednesday, December 21, at 6 PM for our Winter Solstice Service. In the spirit of the darkest night of the year, we will be gathering outdoors for a solstice celebration with bonfires and candles. Come and join us for this earth-centered ritual where we will be able to connect with the world around us.
Christmas Eve Service
"There is something magical about a sanctuary by candlelight…..”
All are welcome and invited to join us Saturday, December 24 (time TBD) for our Candlelight Christmas Eve Service filled with music, inspiration, and the holiday spirit. Children are welcome to the service, and childcare for small children is also provided. Merry Christmas!
