During this season of Thanksgiving, and throughout the entire year, Chariot is ever grateful for our volunteers, donors, clients, and staff who make our program a success.

In one form or another, we have been delivering exemplary senior transportation services to the community since 1988.  Chariot provides a ride - and a sense of independence - for our valued clients in South Austin, Southwest Austin, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Northern Hays County, and Elgin. We are committed to enabling our rapidly growing aging population to age in place, and we look forward to continued collaboration with organizations who share our vision of every senior in Central Texas having access to transportation, enriching their quality of life.

We thank everyone who has supported our efforts, and we look forward to our continued collaboration in the year ahead. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

This year, we invite you to join us on November 29 - the Tuesday following Thanksgiving - for the worldwide giving movement called GivingTuesday. This special day inspires people across more than 150 countries to engage, volunteer, or donate to the causes they care about most.

At Chariot, we believe that giving back to the local community helps create a more equitable and prosperous environment for all. Our work relies on the generosity and passion of the people in our community who take action for good by donating and volunteering with us.

Save the date for GivingTuesday to support Central Texas nonprofits like ours!

We hope you had a chance to get some bids in during Chariot's 2022 Online Auction, It's More Than Just a Ride! We are so grateful for the generosity of our auction donors and bidders whose participation helped us raise much-needed funding for our program.

We also extend our gratitude to our generous sponsors who made this event possible:  Arden Courts Promedica Memory Care, Belmont Village Senior Living, Downsize My Home, and Oasis Senior Advisors. Thanks again for your support!

From time to time we receive letters of thanks from those who make use of Chariot's services. Here's a recent note from Anita.
To Whom It May Concern,

Just a note to say "Thank You" for all your time and effort to make it possible for folks like me who can no longer drive to still be independent and active. Your drivers are helpful, friendly and caring. They give of their time and resources to help me out. Your staff members are also very efficient and friendly in scheduling rides for me and answer any questions I might have or problems I may face.

Thanks also for the van that Jason drives every Thursday at 1 pm to pick up residents at Affinity at SouthPark Meadows for an afternoon of grocery shopping or whatever. He is always so helpful and understanding. I hope that the service will continue and more people here, that do not drive, will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Enclosed please find a contribution to help defray the costs involved for making this all possible.

God bless you and yours in this endeavor to help all those who depend on your volunteers and office staff to keep us seniors "on the move"!
Respectfully,
Anita
