How often do you wash your hair? Many hair stylists say they only wash once or twice a week. Some people insist on every day. The truth is, it depends on your skin as much or more than your hair. Dry shampoos can mask oily hair, but they can't substitute for a proper wash. On the other hand, washing too much can dry out your scalp and hair and contribute to breakage and poor growth. A boar bristle brush can help spread skin oil more evenly, so the length is protected while the roots are not greasy. (I've started using one recently and my hair is growing great, with less washing required). Having a regular stylist who knows your hair can help you get beautiful thick hair with less product and effort.

Please read over the safety requirements below. A refusal to participate in these at the time of your appointment will be considered a no-show session and you will be charged 50% no show fee.
We are taking clients who are fully vaccinated, as well as medical referrals from other health practitioners.

We are seeing clients in a very limited capacity.
You will be expected to comply with these new requirements for all sessions:

  • Limited sessions,

  • Longer times between sessions to allow cleaning and air circulation,

  • New health checks before each appointment:

  • pulse oximeters to check for "silent hypoxia" (no appointments if under 90% SpO2)

  • thermometers (no appointments if over 100 F)

  • Masks required for BOTH client and therapist. Yes, this means you. We recommend against masks with vents, both for therapist safety (they let air out, defeating the purpose of a mask in close quarters) and for comfort in face down situations.

  • Pre session questions regarding risk factors (for your health and safety)

  • Pre session questions regarding risk behaviors like masks and self quarantine (for therapists' health and safety)
