Artist in Residence, November 21–25
The Visual Arts Department welcomes Khun Thawatchai Chunhachai as our Artist in Residence from November 21 to 25, 2022! K. Thawatchai is an animator who will work with and share his expertise with art students from all sections. K. Thawatchai has worked in the animation industry in Thailand for over 15 years. He has experience on international and local productions, including Disney’s Lego Frozen and the interactive comic for the Little Nightmares video game.
K. Thawatchai has always been passionate about telling his own stories. Many years ago he began the creation of a comic book Run Ran Run (RRR). The culmination of that project was an animated comic app that runs on iPad and Google Android. The project was a great success as a proof of concept and led to contracts with Arx anima and Bandai Namco.
