It's all about Poppies!
With Remembrance Day coming on Friday, and the stunning poppy displays put up by the NOTL Museum last week - how could it be anything but poppy week! Although it's not "an event" you must go see these displays in town. They are only up until Nov 12 (depending on the weather).
Last year the Museum volunteers crochet and knit almost 3000 poppies to be used for the display at the NOTL Museum. This year another 4000 were made of the Court House on Queen Street. Plus a Poppy Garden was added to the Museum with the names of all the men who didn't return to NOTL. It's all breathtaking. Please go see it - on a sunny day if you can!
