Hi Everyone,
We were 'forced' to move courses to Puahue for Week 5 of the Spoken Cycles Summer Series due to roadworks on our usual Kakepuku circuit. 118 riders signed on with congratulations going to Lewis Johnston who took out the A Grade win in a time of 44.33 mins over two laps of the Puahue circuit. Please find the results attached and points will be updated on our website in the next few days.
A big thank you to the parents assisting Brian with the U15 programme - great to see 15 kids out there tonight mixing it up on a slightly longer course than they're used to.
As Marc mentioned in the race briefing, the Centre Team Time Trial is hosted by the Hamilton Club on Sunday 4th December at Orini. Details and entry information can be found at: https://hamiltoncitycycling.co.nz/2022-wbop-team-tt/ Brian is working on U15 entries but graded riders are welcome to form their own teams and enter via the online entry form on the Hamilton Club's website.
We had a pair of cycling glasses handed in - email or message if they belong to you and I'll bring them along to racing next Tuesday.
Mateo Duaue has been attending Cambridge High for the past couple of months and racing each week in A Grade taking out two wins! We wish him safe travel when he returns home to Argentina this week - we'll miss you Mateo and hope that you'll return to NZ and we'll see you again at TA racing!
