The Holiday Season is officially upon us and we wanted to make sure you have a chance to pencil in all of the upcoming Gardiner events! We are thrilled to bring you the Parade of Lights again this year along with the Downtown Tree Lighting, Shop Small Saturday along with many other events happening in the community!

Dancing With The Staff
Sunday, November 13th at 7pm, Gardiner Area High School
The Boys & Girls Club of Kennebec Valley hosts their 3 Year Comeback Show of Dancing with the Staff on Nov. 13 from 7-9pm at Gardiner Area High School's Little Theater. Dancing with the Staff is a competition in which Club staff partner up with members in the hopes of creating a winning routine! They hope to have a sell out show that will fully support and celebrate the 60+ Gardiner Regional Middle School and High School students that have worked hard to make this a success!

Paint Night Fundraiser for Team Lainey & The Goodwin Family

Please join Artist Nicole and the Gardiner Rotary Club for a Paint Party FUNdraiser to support little Lainey and the Goodwin family. The Goodwin Family has been relocated to hospital in Maryland where Lainey is receiving intense therapy to regain mobility after a virus attacked her spine and left her paralyzed. Let's gather to support Lainey and her family! You will enjoy a fabulous fun night of painting and ticket sales will be donated to Team Lainey and the Goodwin family. Tickets available HERE.

Turkey Donation Day, November 19th
Organized by Chrysalis Place Food Center
Chrysalis Place Food Center annually prepares Christmas orders consisting of several bags of food and a turkey for their clients who are residents of Gardiner, West Gardiner, Farmingdale, Pittston, Randolph and Chelsea. They depend heavily on donations of turkeys and money to complete this project. Frozen turkeys and monetary donations are accepted and very much appreciated by the hard working team that organizes this program. Their efforts will help to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to enjoy a delicious holiday dinner this year.
You can drop off your donations at either Goldfinch Creamery at 316 Water Street or at Goggin's IGA in Randolph. Drop-off hours are 8:30am - 2:30pm. If there are any questions, please contact bevfernald47@icloud.com or call 207-582-5507

Gardiner Rotary Turkey Trot
Saturday, November 19th 7:30-9pm
The Gardiner Rotary Club is excited to bring back the Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk! Registration is now open! This year’s race will take place at The Gardiner Common on November 19 at 9am. Costumes are encouraged at this year’s event so get dressed up in your favorite Thanksgiving outfit.

There will also be a special guest at this year’s event - Katie Schide - who is a world-renowned athlete, as well as a Gardiner Native. We hope to see on the 19th for this year’s Turkey Trot!

Johnson Hall Stand Up Comedy Series
The Blind Pig Next Level, 11 Mechanic St
Saturay, November 19th 7:30-9pm
Johnson Hall's Stand Up Comedy Series, hosted by Mark Turcotte, presents an evening of hilarious stand-up comedy! Give your funny bone a workout as some of New England’s funniest comics take the stage and present their unique brand of humor. You’ll hear jokes about life in Maine, the meaning of life – and everything in between. Each show will feature three comedians, last for approximately 90 minutes. These performances are intended for mature audiences and will contain adult language and content. This month's line up will include Tuck Tucker, Chris Justice, Crystal Bernard, Fred Dearnley. This performance is for ages 21+. The venue is not handicap accessible.
