| | Ridge Hill Demolition Project Begins This Week | The Ridge Hill Demolition project begin this week and will progress in stages until spring 2023. The project includes the demolition of the Manor House and the Garage at 463 Charles River St., both of which are in advanced stages of disrepair. Demolition of these two buildings will eliminate potential health and safety risks to the public. S&R Corporation, the demolition contractor for the project, will remove hazardous waste material within the existing structures. That material will be professionally handled, abated, and disposed of per state and federal regulations. The contractor will also remove an underground oil storage. The driveway to the existing barn will be restored as a gravel drive for future access to that building. Please remain outside the construction fencing and use alternate trails to access the surrounding Ridge Hill hiking trails. Thank you for your assistance and patience during this demolition project. |
