For those of you that were able to join us on October 21st, the Field Session in Green Bay was a great success! We got to tour and see how Neenah Foundry makes many of their products, as well as learn about the future of Bay Beach. Capping off the day, we spent the afternoon walking around the Broadway District and Titletown District, as well as having dinner and our Annual Meeting/Recognition Awards Ceremony. If you have not been able to attend any of our Field Sessions in the past, I implore each of you to consider it in the future.
November is always an exciting time for ASLA. In just a couple days, a few of the WI ASLA board members will be headed to San Francisco to represent the Chapter at the Conference on Landscape Architecture. Stay tuned for updates following the conclusion of the conference. I hope to see many of our members there, and if you intend to attend, please reach out as we will attempt to get a WI ASLA group together.

Following the conclusion of the Conference on Landscape Architecture, the three newly elected board members will be joining our board for the beginning of their terms. APA-WI, in partnership with AARP-WI & 1000 Friends of Wisconsin is pleased to welcome author and planner M. Nolan Gray to Madison on Monday, November 14th from 4:30 - 6 at Leopold's Books Bar Caffe. Happy Hour to follow.
Although the event is free, registration is requested and limited to 50 attendees. Appetizers and a drink ticket (coffee, wine, etc.) for each registrant will be provided, thanks to our partners at AARP-WI.
