Reminder: AGM & Social Event
The 2022 ACMP Greater Vancouver Chapter Annual General Meeting (AGM) and our first Social Event in two years will be held in person on Wednesday, November 9th at 6pm at UBC Robson Square.
You must be an ACMP member in good standing with the primary membership chapter as ACMP Greater Vancouver to participate in the Annual General Meeting.
During the AGM, the Board will present key highlights from the past year; financials, and the strategy for the upcoming year; as well as answer any of your questions.
Date: November 9, 2022 Place: UBC Robson Square Time: AGM 6pm – 6:45pm. Social event 6:45pm – 8pm Price: Free for ACMP Vancouver members; $11.62 for non-members to attend the Social Event.
Update: Mentorship Program
We are accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for ACMP Vancouver Mentorship Program. Participants have an option for a 6-month or 12-month program. Both options will start in January 2023. The program is open to any individual who is a member of ACMP and has ACMP Vancouver as their primary chapter.
Information about this program is available on our website, including eligibility criteria and the submission process. Expressions of interest to be a mentee will be accepted until December 16, 2022. If you would like to be a mentor, please email us at admin@acmpvan.com.

Updates: Conversation with Change Practitioners

In my first year as Chapter President, my dear friend and colleague Lisa Kempton approached me about hosting a monthly series for our Vancouver Chapter members. The goal of the series was to connect local practitioners in a variety of change topics and build our network and community.
On October 2, 2020 at 7:45 am our first “Conversations with Change Practitioners” was launched (on zoom)! Our first topic was “Your Change Practitioner Career Journey”. The session was open to all levels of experience and we had the opportunity to reflect on our professional journey, explore what helps you grow and develop as a change practitioner, and learn about common paths in change management. The session was a success and for the months that followed we created a space for conversation and connection. Members from our chapter were invited to co-host with Lisa and shared their professional experience and expertise.
19 Conversations later, Lisa has decided to step back from hosting these sessions and on behalf of the ACMP Vancouver Chapter Board and Members, how do I begin to say thank you? To begin, thank you for sharing your time, knowledge and masterful facilitation skills. Your ability to create a warm welcoming environment over zoom is a skill to be admired and modeled. Thank you for actively supporting our Association – volunteer involvement is the heart of our Chapter. And personally, thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and vision in helping me create a community of practice and connections for our members.
We wish you continued success in your change practitioner career journey and hope to continue to see you at our future events.

The first in-person CHG MGMT Summit will take place in 2023.
At the CHG MGMT Summit, we'll explore in a small learning environment how we can enhance and redefine the Customer Experience, leading to more loyal fans, improved outcomes and increased revenue.
