Thank you Clontarf Foundation for visiting our warehouse! Young people from Clontarf came for a tour and hands-on experience at our warehouse this month. Clontarf are keen to engage in a regular volunteer commitment with Loved & Shared, and we're so excited to welcome you to our team!

Thank you Leadership Great South Coast for visiting our warehouse for your 'Volunteering and Creativity' program day! Participants trialled our donation sorting processes, providing valuable feedback to help improve our procedures!

We are so grateful to have the support of Uniting Church Op Shop! Chair Philip and Committee Member Liz visited our warehouse and generously donated children's goods, to help get us started!

A big thank you to our friends at SisterWorks for manufacturing our gorgeous volunteer aprons! We are really looking forward to building our relationship with you and working together on future projects! We are so grateful to recieve funding from the Vedmore Foundation to support this project.

A big warm welcome to our first "official" Loved & Shared volunteer Malcolm! Malcolm has been assisting with various handy-human jobs at our warehouse.
Our new roll cages, ready to fill up with donations! Thank you to Wannon Water, Ripple Effect Program for supporting Loved & Shared with funds to purchase essential warehouse equipment

Our Regional Need

20% of the population aged 0-8 in the region are considered vulnerable on 1 or more of the 5 critical childhood development criteria, this is significantly higher than the state average.

We aim to save 3+ tonnes of good quality items going to landfill every year.

Local data from four LGAs (Warrnambool, Moyne, Southern Grampians & Corangamite), confirm that 1 in 5 children live in poverty.

Loved & Shared is a community project initiated by Leadership Great South Coast 2020 Program Participants.

Please forward this on to anyone who might be interested. We are keen to build up our distribution list prior to recruitment of volunteers.
