Reproduction Otherwise

Beyond Borders + Binaries

📌 Save the date: we openen 16 december

De BAD Award is back!

Must see's in November

Zelfrijdende auto's, gezichtsherkenning, digitaal geld, intelligente vaccins: kunstmatige intelligentie ontwikkelt snel.

Over 50 talents from Stimuleringsfonds, a CHA-CHA-CHA in the metaverses, a look back at 10 years of Bio Art and Design Award and our exhibition Reproduction Otherwise: MU was buzzing with energy during the Dutch Design Week.

IVF-X

Create your own cyborg-baby

“The process you go through shows how “makeable” humans might become. All the choices you make for your cyborg-baby are invasive and determine their life…” two visitors share after their visit to IVF-X

Where IVF practices are common medical treatments, Victorine van Alphen delves into the hybrid future of 21st century parenting in IVF-X. By going through four phases, in a combination of analogue, sensual, theatrical and institutional rituals, you eventually meet your cyborg baby who has been created on the basis of (collaborative) choices. What will your offspring look like? Sign up for one of the timeslots to discover it.
