Snowdrop Doula are starting their next level 3 Perinatal mental health peer support training in November and are looking for mums to train. This training will be online via Zoom/Teams with some in-person sessions over a couple of months.

Great Places is committed to investing in communities and helping customers to live well. With more of their customers affected by the rising cost of living, they are delighted to launch the Greater Together Foundation Resilience Fund which will focus on community-based initiatives that support people to take control of their household finances and get through the cost of living crisis.

The Greater Together Foundation has officially launched and funds of between £1000 and £25000 can be applied for from the Resilience Fund.

IMO are seeking two new Gambling Awareness Officers. Deadline is Wednesday 9th November.
Thanks to BwD Council, the Billy Project are able to offer a variety of new sessions for females aged 11-18 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3 to 4pm & 4 to 5pm.
In the form of the Billy Project Juniors, they have created a safe environment for young females to make friends, learn more about exercise & fitness, take part in FUN workouts and help with focus and routine.
Booking is essential.

Voice Breakfast Club is running every Saturday from 10 to 11.30am at Platform 5, The Boulevard Centre, Railway Road Blackburn BB1 1EZ.

We provide free warm cooked breakfasts, hot drinks and a friendly welcome.
Volunteering Support

Digital Drop-in
We offer free and friendly help to enable you to 'get online' or get help with basic internet skills– whether it is to search and apply for jobs, get an email address, sort out bills and banking, or access benefits and support. Offered Monday to Friday. Contact us to book a place by calling 01254 583957.
Action for Jobs
If you want a helping hand to learn new skills, get more confidence, become a volunteer to gain experience, access training and get a job, contact us to join our Action for Jobs Project. Call us or send us an e-mail. If you're in Darwen, Miffy Clegg holds a drop in every Wednesday at Café Hub from 11am to 2pm. Contact Miffy to learn more.
Fast 4wd

Community Asset Fund
If you are a group that would like a grant to support recovery activities in the community, the BwD Recovery Collaborative's Community Asset Fund is offering grants of between £500 and £2,000. If you'd like more information, please get in touch with Marselle Davies.
