City Commission Meeting Recap
The City Commission of Eudora held its regular, semimonthly meetings on Wednesday, October 12th, and Monday, October 24th, 2022 at City Hall.
- Approved a proclamation declaring October 2022 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
- Considered an update from Midco.
- Authorized the execution of the K-10/Church Street shared use path grant agreement between KDOT and the City of Eudora.

Sustainability Focus Group
The Douglas County Sustainability Office is hosting a sustainability focus group for Eudora. Topics covered will include weather safety, public health, green space, and building a sustainable future in Eudora. Barbwire Barbecue will be served.

Eudora Friday and Fun Fellowship
Seniors, mark your calendars!
The next Friday and Fun Fellowship will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the Eudora Community Center. Chiropractor Doug Mateo will be speaking about "The Power of Gratitude: Developing a New Mindset for Positive Growth." You can expect fun games, door prizes, and time with friends! Bring your favorite snack with you to share with the group.

The Eudora Parks and Recreation Winter Activity Guide is now available. The activity guide contains information about activities, events, parks and recreation updates, and more. The activity guide can be found on the parks and rec website at:

Housing Stabilization Collaborative
Assistance is available for Douglas County residents through the Housing Stabilization Collaborative (HSC). The HSC aims to support community members in affording sustainable housing through their rental and utility assistance programs, monthly rental availability list, and partnerships with local agencies. In June 2022, Douglas County approved a $1 million grant for the HSC.
