Update from the National Trust for Canada Conference
From Oct. 20-22, several Heritage Saskatchewan staff and Board members attended the National Trust Conference in Toronto. The conference, titled "The Heritage Reset: Making Critical Choices", was very productive and timely. For more updates about the conference content, see the National Trust's website. Heritage Saskatchewan has some great news! Our own CEO, Ingrid Cazakoff, has been elected the new Chair of the National Trust following their Annual General Meeting on September 29. We look forward to the opportunities this will bring to her. The Next Great Save
The National Trust, in partnership with Ecclesiastical, is offering a new competition this year: The Next Great Save! Submit a Letter of Intent to participate by November 20, 2022! The winner will receive $50,000. Congratulations!

New Heritage Fairs Website Coming Soon!
Our Heritage Fairs and High School Heritage Challenge will be getting their own website soon. Tentative launch is December 1. Stay tuned for more details! 2023 Heritage Fair Plans
In 2023, plans are underway to phase back in our Regional Heritage Fairs. The Virtual Heritage Fair will continue as a pan-Saskatchewan regional-level fair, and we will once again offer an in-person Provincial Heritage Fair at Government House in June. Likewise, the High School Heritage Challenge will run concurrently with the Virtual Heritage Fair.
