Hey everybody !

We will start off Midweek as we normally do, with a meal! This week we will be having  soups and chili.  Bring something you would like to go with it. In children's Midweek time, we will be learning about Thanksgiving, or giving thanks to God.

There was once a a group of religious leaders called Sadducees. They asked Jesus some questions about Heaven and tried to trick Him into saying there was no Heaven. We will talk about what Jesus told them this Sunday in Sunday School.

In Children's Church we will continue our Words of Life study. This is where we will take a look at Jesus and the promise of the Ten Commandments today.  This week we will learn about the 8th commandment where God instructed the Israelites how to follow the commandments and keep His covenant. We will focus on being generous. Our Bible verse is from Exodus 20:15, " Do not steal."

Check back next week to find out what's coming up!

All Staff Trained by Ministry Safe
Our vision is to strengthen families in faith.  We have put in a lot of work to make the Children's Ministry area safe and welcoming.  We have hired staff that we believe to be capable, and we have trained them on our Safe Sanctuaries policies adopted by the church for those who work with children, youth, and vulnerable adults.  We have also required them to go through Sexual Abuse Awareness Training through Ministry Safe.  For more information about Ministry safe go to https://ministrysafe.com/LearnMore/
