Nobody could be hotter than Taylor Swift right now, with the release of her new album Midnights topping the charts. But Swift revealed on a talk show recently that she didn't feel so hot when she auditioned for a role in the 2012 Les Misérables movie. "They made me look like death and it became a nightmare," said Swift, recalling that her teeth had been painted brown for the audition. "When I met Eddie (Redmayne), I didn't open my mouth to speak!" The absence of Swift notwithstanding, Les Misérables - which stars Redmayne, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Helena Bonham Carter - is available for streaming on STARZ.
It has been a little more than a week since HBO's HOUSE OF THE DRAGON wrapped up its first season, and the episodes are still being scrutinized and ranked. But devoted fans will have to be patient for Season 2, with HBO boss Casey Bloys saying in a recent interview, "don't expect it in '23, but I think sometime in '24 ... it's not to be coy or secretive, but you don't want to say it's going to be ready on this date, and then you have to move it." Of course, HOUSE OF THE DRAGON is the kind of series that can be watched and analyzed over and over again, and the entire first season is available on Crave.
The first teaser for the fourth season of MIRACLE WORKERS - subtitled END TIMES - has been released, with star Daniel Radcliffe channeling Mad Max. Each season of the anthology comedy series features the same all-star cast, led by Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, playing new roles in a new setting. Season 4 debuts Jan. 16, 2023, on CTV Comedy Channel, CTV.ca, and the CTV app. By the way, Radcliffe, who is obviously best known for the Harry Potter films (all available on Crave), appeared last night on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON (weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CTV2).
