Happy Tuesday! Today marks the final day of our Fall Radiothon push. As of this morning, thanks to 705 donors, we have raised a total of $48,946 -- and we haven't even finished counting all of the donations yet! This number does not include our generous friends who have running tabs with the station, the pledges of monthly contributors, or all of our amazing matching donations from community members and local businesses. All that to say, the fundraising train is still rollin' and we are picking up speed for this final day of 'Thon! Hop on the Radio Boise crazy train for a one way ticket to paradise (or at least to get me to stop making these horrible music references!)

9am - Noon: Square Roots presents an Americana Showdown! Tune in as Dave G's "Gold Americana" playlist faces off against GM Alyssa's "Modern Indie Americana" playlist. Your donation gives you the chance to cast your vote, and choose to keep or change the playlist. Who will come out the victor? Only you, our lovely listeners, will decide!
Noon - 3pm: Join Nichole Marie and special co-host DJ Winkle on The Rapture, and get entered into a drawing for a "Playlist Takeover." Every donation gets you entered to co-host or make your own playlist for The Rapture!
5pm - 7pm: Tune in to DJ Pole-erd on The Daft Manifesto as he is joined by DJ Kristen of Up In Your Mind Flowers for another week of covers! What's your take on the hot topic of covers? Call in and let us know!
9pm - 11pm: Just as 70's Rock passed to the Hair Metal era, so shall Danny Sixx take the chair from Dr. Danny Fever to host a special Hair Metal/Glam Metal Episode of Riff Haven in support of people powered radio at Radio Boise. Break out the hairspray and make a donation to request your favorite tune to take you back to the good 'ol days!
11pm - 1am: DJ Manimal is back at it with another death-defying, spicy-hot edition of Event Horizon Boogie. He's managed to rope the entire Radio Boise staff into joining him to eat the hottest substances on the planet: live, on air. Make a donation to save us from the inevitable, mouth burning pain!!
It takes donors big and small to help keep independent media alive in Boise and Beyond. We will be hosting a party at Boise Brewing on Tuesday, November 15th, from 5-8pm to celebrate our Radiothon success and get you your super-special-one-time-only Fall Radiothon merchandise. Radio Boise is Boise Brewing's Non-Profit of the Month for November--even more reason to celebrate! We'll see you there.
