Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Don’t waste these gorgeous last days of stunning, sun-filled fall colors. The weather looks to be spectacular this weekend, so get outside! Why not visit one of our local parks, try a hiking trail and surround yourself with the changing foliage, shop around town, visit the Farmer’s Market and our Chili Cookoff, or dine outside at one of our amazing restaurants – whatever lets you take a deep breath and gets you both back to nature and the great outdoors! See you around town!

As always, please feel free to reach out to me at LKatz@MyNewCastle.org.

My very best,
Lisa

Chili Cook-Off - Tomorrow

Spice Up Your Weekend!
So, you think you make the best chili in Town? Well, we dare you to prove it this Saturday, November 5th at the Town of New Castle's Chili Cook Off!
The contest will take place at the Chappaqua Farmer’s Market from 11am - 1pm, with judging to begin at 11:30am. We ask that contestants please pre-register and bring their chili in a crock pot so we can keep it warm. Maybe you will be crowned New Castle’s Titan of Chili!
And if you don’t want to compete, come draw some inspiration and then buy ingredients for your own batch of chili at the Chappaqua Farmer's Market!

Reminder - Event Signs

As we approach election day, just a reminder that all event signs (including political signs) must be 5 feet off the roadway for the safety of our pedestrians and motorists.  Also, it is a violation to place identical signs within 20 feet of each other – the intent is to encourage free speech but to minimize the overpopulation of signs. And all signs must be picked up within three days following the event. Thanks for your cooperation!
