Zebra Release Candidate Tagged!
ZF is pleased to announce that we have recently tagged our first release candidate of Zebra (Zebra 1.0.0-rc.0), the alternative zcash node implementation written in Rust. This is the first time that there has been an alternative zcash node implementation running on mainnet and that we are excited to see some Zebra nodes now appearing on the blockchair node explorer! Latest FROST News

We've been hard at work getting the IETF draft ready for last call. Expect for us to enter last call in the next month. When that happens, please write the list in support of the draft and with any final suggested changes!

For the Zcash implementation, we have implemented the DKG as specified in the FROST paper and many other changes to ensure compatibility with the FROST latest draft. You can expect us to be nearing finalization of re-randomizable FROST in the next few months, and at long last, having our codebase audited so that it is ready for everyone to use safely. Stay tuned!
Do you have an issue with your wallet? Is your node not syncing properly? Have you encountered an error or a situation you’re unfamiliar with within the Zcash ecosystem? ZF’s Community Support Coordinator is here to help! DM or tag @autotunafish on the Forum or @tripleyouwu on Discord and he will provide support for your issue.
