THANK YOU, FRIENDS!

Dear friends,

Many thanks to those who participated in #FOISummit22, held virtually, Oct. 18-20. About 270 people registered for the Summit, and attendees heard from a diverse group of FOI experts who examined how to enforce FOI laws, trends in open government litigation, doxxing, the effects of disappearing messages, who’s withholding law enforcement information and why, and real stories by real people who turned to FOI in critical times.

Huge thanks to our generous sponsors: Bloomberg LP, the Knight Foundation, The New York Times, the SPJ Foundation, and the Florida State University College of Communication and Information for helping us make #FOISummit22 a success.

Registration for the 2022 FOI Summit remains open until 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 3, 2022. New registrants can unlock all the content, including recordings and handouts, and connect with the FOI community.

Registration — $27.59 for NFOIC members, $32.84 for non-members — includes recordings of most sessions for six months. Groups of 10 or more attendees save 20% off the ticket price.
