November is Gratitude Month at Buddings, practicing mindfulness, steady breaths, and feeling thankful... but that autumn chill is in the air!
 Our Winter Program, Crafty Crafts, is right around the corner, running from Dec. 5, through to 2023! We're planning full-day camps over the school break, with daily cooking activities and science, traditions, and of course CRAFTS!
We also have Full-Day Camps over the school holidays from Dec. 19 - 30, for families who stick around.
As we round out the year, some promised changes to membership options are coming into effect, and in this newsletter, we explain how and why it's rolling out.
Plus, you'll be seeing a couple new faces this month, as our interns take the floor.

2022 Membership Experiment Results Are In!

 This spring, we introduced a more service-focused approach to hours and admin support, and as we predicted, families loved it.
Hours credited to the account 2 months in advance, and what you use paid off on the 1st, means no more transferring hours, and no more unpaid invoices... to follow up on...
It turned out that increasing our service level made less admin at our end, too. Everyone benefits!
 In the fall, we invited families to try the second centre for free, for a new adventure of learning, snacks, walks, and programs for kids, and twice as many spots on any given day.
It was fun! And helpful.
Testing policies and practices isn't easy, but experimenting helps us improve. After a year of theorizing, the results are in and this winter, we're ready to put the learning into practice, with new membership options that offer more access to care, and takes care of account maintenance.
 The Benefits Membership is $115/month, with no admin fees to worry about, and hours billed at $18 after you use them.
Our new Regular Membership fee for both centres is $80/month, and the monthly commitment help us cover operating costs at both centres.

Meet the interns, Yuki, Emma, and Lakshmi
|

 Our Autumn internship began in October, and with the first 4 weeks of online training under their belts, Yuki Nakamura (seen here), Emma Le, and Lakshmi Gayatri Sadhu are making their in-person appearances this week.
They have three very different backgrounds, training and experience, but they all have an interest in working with children, and ... clear criminal record checks! Of course.
Catch them in the flesh through the first two weeks of November. They're new. Say hi. :)
