This Magazine wants to discover more about the sixteen projects involved that will take the scene at the ALICE stand, from the 14th to 17th of November, during the Transport Research Arena 2022.

SPROUT is a project of real-life implementations, driven by six pilot cities backed by robust academic support. The pilot cities tested different urban mobility solutions from which the project created an understanding of the current state of urban mobility and of the main drivers of future change. “At TRA2022, STORM project wants to connect with the European freight and logistics community and bring hot topics related to digitalization, future zero-emission vehicles scenarios, and policies.

Come and meet the VITAL-5G and ALICE at TRA 2022 in Lisbon 14-17 Nov.
VITAL-5G plans to overcome various limitations that exist today for industry verticals through its 'NetApps platform' to deploy T&L virtualised services in #5G. 
VITAL-5G operates on state-of-the-art experimentation facilities to test and validate novel services and T&L Vertical solutions in three real and highly configurable 5G hubs.

PLANET's vision is to advance in the European Commission’s strategy for Smart, Green and Integrated Transport and Logistics by efficiently interconnecting infrastructure (TEN-T, Rail-Freight Corridors) and by optimising the use of current & emerging transport modes and technological solutions, while preserving the environment, and enhancing Citizens quality of life.

Come and meet the 5G-LOGINNOV and ALICE at TRA 2022 in Lisbon 14-17 Nov.
5G-LOGINNOV investigates those fields aiming at optimising freight and traffic operations at ports and logistics hubs by using new innovative concepts, applications and devices supported by 5G technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, next generation traffic management, Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and the 5G logistics corridor.

Come and meet the ULaaDS and ALICE at TRA 2022 in Lisbon 14-17 Nov.
ULaaDS’ vision is to foster sustainable and liveable cities through the deployment of innovative, shared, zero-emission logistics, while dealing with the impact of the on-demand.
ULaaDS is developing a methodology for effective multi-stakeholder collaboration, involving the whole urban logistics ecosystem.

Come and meet FENIX and ALICE at TRA 2022 in Lisbon 14-17 Nov.
FENIX aims at developing the first European federated architecture to serve the European logistics community of shippers, logistics service providers, mobility infrastructure providers, cities, and authorities. These actors require a common system for data sharing and enhancement of interoperability for any individual existing and future platform.

Come and meet AEGIS and ALICE at TRA 2022 in Lisbon 14-17 Nov.
AEGIS' goal is to design a more flexible, connected and user centric waterborne logistics system. A shift in European transports from road to waterborne and rail is critical for meeting the goals of minimizing the carbon emissions from transport set by the Commission. In this respect all parts of the entire logistics system need to be considered to make competitive waterborne systems; more autonomous vessels, more automation in cargo handling, improved digital connectivity.

Come and meet ePIcenter and ALICE at TRA 2022 in Lisbon 14-17 Nov.
Value chains have become longer and more complex as companies expanded around the globe. This has made their supply chains more vulnerable and uncertain. Disruptions are recurrent these days, creating a major impact on the logistics processes. ePIcenter aims at increasing the efficiency of global supply chains and reducing their environmental impact.

Come and meet STORM and ALICE at TRA 2022 in Lisbon 14-17 Nov.
Funded under European Union’s Horizon 2020 programSTORM aims at investigating transformation and structural changes in freight and logistics business operations from different perspectives. In particular, the project is focusing on future challenges and requirements of the sector by developing new procedures and tools to support digitalisation, sustainability transition, and future policy requests.
