Hey SCUW! We are flying through the Fall. Can't believe it's already November and Thanksgiving break is around the corner. As always, SCUW events and opportunities are listed down below, so make sure to read it all!

CCS Registration and Regionals Volunteering
We are excited to announce that we are lucky enough to host the CCS Central Regional Championships this coming Fall. The meet will be hosted on November 11th and 12th at the Nick. All registered members are welcome to sign up. But in order to sign up members must be registered with our team with CCS. The registration steps are below. Returning members, please double-check you are an active member under our team for this season with CCS.
- Register with our club on the College Club Swimming website.
- Find "Registration" in the upper right corner and go to "Swimmer Registration"
- Find "University of Wisconsin-Madison" on the list of clubs, then "Register Swimmer"
- If you are a returning member, simply find your name and click on "Register for 2022-23 Season".
- If you are a new member, follow the link on top of the roster list and fill out all required forms.
- CCS offers an OPTIONAL bridge membership to US Masters swimming that costs $25. Registration with CCS is free, so do not click on the $25 item in the cart if you are not interested!
Hosting this big of a swim meet is not an easy task, and we need your help. We are looking for volunteers to help us run this meet successfully. We need timers, runners, and concessions workers. If you, your family members, your friends or have connections to larger groups of students, please consider passing on our Sign-Up Genus and encourage them to sign up to volunteer!

Deadline to Register for the College Club Swimming Central Regionals Championships is November 4th at 11:59pm!
Registration for our Regional Championships are now open! Registration for this meet is different than what you saw for the Minnesota Invitational and the Purdue Invitational. We will be utilizing the College Club Swimming Website for registration and entry sign up. There is no meet entry fee for SCUW swimmers! The steps go as follows:
1. Go to https://www.collegeclubswimming.com/
2. Login->click swimmer
3. Scroll down to find "2022 Central Regional Championship Hosted By Swim Club UW-Madison
4. Click "Declaration Due"
5. Click on relays that you are interested in potentially being a part of (maximum of 2 relays), AND enter times that you wish to be entered into the psych sheet as (maximum of 4 events can be swum over the two days) .
6. Click "Continue" at the bottom of the page to save your events and relay preferences.
If there are any questions about Regionals, entry sign up, or anything else please let Nick Starr know and he would be happy to help!
We currently have 50 SCUW swimmers registered and over 450 swimmers registered from all across the Central Region. Let's see if we can get to out goal of over 70 SCUW swimmers registered for the meet!

When: Friday, December 2nd, 4:00 pm-9:30 pm
Where: The Kohl Center
We need about 8-10 people to help us run a grill stand!

Panera Bread Fundraising
Come join SCUW and other teams across the Central Region at Panera on Saturday, November 12th, from 4:00-8:00pm. Celebrate your amazing swims with some yummy and healthy food!

Swim x Tri x Track x Cycling Food Drive
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we are teaming up with Tri Club, Cycling Club, and Track Club to host a food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank. Although we all have a common interest, this is a competition, and Swim Club wants to win! Please bring non-perishable food items to practice, and give them to any officer. Monetary donations will also be accepted, and can be given through Venmo to our Finance Chair Joey Bartel (@Joey-Bartel). At the end of the drive, the winning team will get to do an instagram takeover of the other clubs!
