It's the Wednesday Email!

Dear Church-

The Sunday after November 1 is always a special one for me. One of the great joys and obligations of church life is to remember with joy the lives of people who have changed us throughout the years. It’s a moment of connection to generations past and future, a moment to remember that traditions in the church exist not simply because they are what has always been done, but to remind us that when we, too, are gone, there will be something of us in what remains.

So we set this day aside to remember in light all the people whose presence can still be felt in the margins of our lives. We bring them to the center once more and remember in their names the acts and the impact their lives have left behind.

If you have particular names of people who have died in the past year that you’d like to lift up in worship, we invite you to email the office or Pastor Nathan, and we will be sure to include them from the pulpit.

Come and Worship!

Grace and Peace,
Pastor Nathan
