Special Events & Activities

Fall Festival

On Monday, October 31st we celebrated our Fall Festival! Special thanks to all the teachers, kids, and parent volunteers who made it an incredible day!

Visual Arts

6th and 8th-grade visual arts students got the opportunity to meet artist Jose Tama Torres on a recent field trip. Students studied techniques for creating portraits.

PreK-8th grade visual arts students created a visual representation for their unit study of corn. Corn ties directly to Hispanic heritage, as its roots come from Mexican natives!

Textiles & Design

The 6th and 8th-grade Fashion, Textiles, and Design students created, designed, and styled the display case in the school lobby. The name of this exhibit is "Equal Rights = Equal Fight." The Fashion Design students learned about the similarities and differences between the African American & Hispanic communities and decided to focus this exhibit on the Unity between both cultures.

ASP Lights On Initiative

Lights On After-school is a project of the After-school Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to quality, affordable after-school programs. Check out our creative learners and their directors, coaches, and teachers celebrating access to productivity in after-school programs.
