The Awana theme for November 6 is Showboxes! Bring in a small toy or self care item that can be sent over seas as Christmas presents. Earn a buck for each item!
The Havelock Food Pantry is requesting we provide 75 cans of corn by November 5th to facilitate their annual Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets.
We still need 50 cans.

The food pantry is still in need of it's regular monthly item. They have requested we provide 48 boxes of dehydrated potatoes..
 
The Operation Christmas Child Packing Party is Saturday, November 12th at 10am. Please return your boxes no later than November 6th.   The boxes were previously purchased by donation, so if you took a box and were unable to fill it, please return the box anyway.

Saturday, November 19th at 9am is the final packing day for the Appalachian Backpacks at Cherry Point Baptist Church.

November 27th is the first Sunday of Advent. Please join us at 5:30pm for our annual Hanging of the Greens service. We will be ushering in the Christmas season with candles, singing, flowers, and fellowship.
You won’t want to miss this spectacular ceremony and this time to learn about why we celebrate the tradition of hanging wreaths and greenery.
A finger food reception will follow in Goodwin Hall.
