2022 Holiday Adopt-a-Pole Program
For the past several years, the Chamber has decorated Main Street in Winthrop with colorful holiday globes and signs from businesses who sponsor the festive poles.
We appreciate your generosity and support in taking advantage of this opportunity to sponsor these holiday decorations downtown.
The Chamber will provide holiday signs on poles that Chamber members can "adopt" for $100 each and non-members for $125 each.
Poles are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. We'll make efforts to locate adopted poles near sponsors, but we can't guarantee proximity.
The signs will go on poles starting by mid-November and be removed in mid-January. They will read either "Happy Holidays," "Merry Christmas," or "Happy Hanukkah," with your business or organization name noted below the salutation.
If you're interested in adopting a pole, please download this form and mail it with your payment by November 30th to the address on the form.

Come Join the Annual Holiday Parade
The annual Winthrop Holiday Parade has been a time-honored tradition for more than 35 years. Hundreds of people come to downtown Winthrop to enjoy the festive, family-fun holiday event. This year, the parade is on Saturday, December 3rd, at 3:30 pm. The line-up starts at 2:30 pm at the top of Main Street near Cumberland Farms. The rain/snow date is Sunday, Dec. 4th.
The parade is a wonderful opportunity to advertise your business or organization and to showcase your holiday creativity. Your participation can range from walking with a banner to a float loaded with decorations.
We invite businesses, schools, and groups in the entire Winthrop Lakes Region to take part. We also welcome riding clubs and other groups with animals and encourage live music.
Please consider joining the holiday fun, and fill-out the parade participation form and mail or scan and email it to the Chamber: WLRCC, P.O. Box 51, Winthrop, ME, 04364 or info@winthropchamber.org.
