$AVVY investigates the historical, cultural and societal norms around women and money. With incisive humor and captivating honesty, $AVVY questions why women often take a backseat to managing their money, and reveals why it’s increasingly critical for women to take the reins of their financial futures.

Join us Tuesday, November 8 from 5-7pm in Anderson Auditorium at Haas, F295 for a film screening of $AVVY and panel discussion with:

A previous event mailing included the film's slogan "Women. Money. Freedom." Although this slogan has been affiliated with the film since 2020, we want to acknowledge that its use is no longer appropriate given Iran's women are fighting for their freedom using the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom." We stand with the women of Iran and acknowledge the harm this oversight has caused.
