The Long Grey Line updates and announcements

Greensboro Veterans Parade will be held in downtown Greensboro beginning at noon on November 5, 2022. Parade Route Wrangler parking lot, E. Lindsay St, N. Elm, E. Friendly Ave, N. Church St, E Lindsay St, disband at Wrangler parking lot. Available parking decks Church-215 N. Church St; Davie 109 E. Market St; Bellemeade-244 N. Greene St. Come out and support the Corps of Cadets.

Halloween at the Ridge

Saturday evening part of the Corps of Cadets went to Kersey Valley Spooky Woods. Mrs. Stevens hosted a viewing of Frankenstein at Maple Glade on October 30th for the Senior class. The seniors are finishing Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein.

Homecoming 2022 in Review

The day opened with a misty rain that cleared off early making for a great day. Alumni and parents roamed campus reacquainting themselves with the grounds by touring with the Admissions department.

The Cadets came out to vote for their favorite car and bike at the show hosted by Indian Motorcycle of Greensboro. Ian Barnes, 2000 graduate won the Bike show with his cream and blue 1997 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Springer. Robert Harrison, Cadet Parent, won the car show with this white 2022 Ferrari F8 Tributo.

CSM Terrence Lewis accompanied Battalion Commander C/Cpt Ian Zody to perform the Pass and Review inspection on Bonner Field. The Drill Team performed an armed exhibition after the pass and review. Dr. Steve Wilson,ORMA president, spoke briefly to the guests in attendance.

The alumni and parents attended the President’s Social in Maple Glade while the Cadets celebrated with a Homecoming dance in the Dining Hall.
