FINANCIAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Have you turned in your Pledge for our Financial Campaign? If you haven't, plan to bring your Pledge this Sunday as we will dedicate our Pledges during the Worship Service. It's also "All Saints Sunday" as we remember the church members and friends who have passed on. There will be a special time Remembrance during the service along with guest musicians. Following the service there will be a "Celebration Lunch," in Fellowship Hall. The meal of fried chicken and all the trimmings including dessert, will be provided with a suggested donation of $10.00.  Don't miss it!

Contemporary Issues Foretaste: Leadership for the Missional Church is written by our very own Rev. Paul M. Dietterich. We have too often missed the point that it is the community of faith, the church, that is called to be a sign, instrument, and in particular a foretaste of the reign of God. So, what would an appetizer of God's coming reign look like anyway? The focus of this book is not only on what a church does but how it goes about doing what it does. To join on Zoom (link).

Michaela Jaé (MJ) Rodriguez
History-Making Trans Actor Michaela Jaé Rodriguez Wants to Be the Example
In January, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez made history as the first trans actor to win a Golden Globe. The 31-year-old won best actress in a TV drama for her role as house mother Blanca Evangelista on Pose, the FX series about New York City’s ’80s and ’90s ball scene. Just six months earlier, Rodriguez had also broken barriers by becoming the first trans woman to earn an Emmy nomination in a lead acting category.--- Read the full story and video interview on the Time Magazine (click link).
