Join us on Nov. 17 from 11 am - 1 pm for another FREE NDIA Series: Supporting Caregivers in the Workforce

Caregiving has a tremendous impact on employees' physical and mental health, productivity, absenteeism, financial situation, and ability to remain in the workforce. At this event, you will learn how employers can enhance support for their caregiver employees and the critical value of supporting employees who serve as caregivers in our community.

The Northland Diversity in Aging Series team is proud to present a free virtual event focused on Supporting Caregivers in the Workforce. This event will feature the expertise of Dr. Heidi Orstad, DNP, RN, PHN, CCm, Clinical Consultant, Marsh Mclennan. We are also excited to feature Cathy McLeer, State Director, AARP Minnesota, and other experts for this timely event. Our panel of experts will present on Supporting Caregivers in the Workforce and the importance of providing employers and caregiver employees with tools that promote and sustain caregiver balance.

The Northland Diversity in Aging Series is a collaboration of The College of Saint Scholastica's Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, and the Gerontology Program; Duluth Aging Support; Northland Foundation; and the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging. The purpose is to foster conversations and promote learning about the aging and caregiving experience across generations and cultures.
