The items will be stored at school so they can be available to other students to wear or keep. Donated items can be sent to school with your child and given to your child’s teacher.

Congrats to our Frame of Fame recipients!

Congratulations to everyone who has been nominated for the Frame of Fame so far this year!

Girls Varsity Soccer Team

Nominated by Mrs. Curry
The girls’ varsity soccer team showed dedication to training and their team by participating in and completing the Heuvelton Labor Day 5K run. Great job, ladies!

Mrs. Sauco & Mrs. Trathen

These ladies have jumped into their new roles with great enthusiasm and are eager to learn how they can support the school and their colleagues. They are already a great asset to our building!

Mr. Morse

Mr. Morse has been nominated twice so far this year.
Jumping into a new role and doing an amazing job. Taking the time to talk with teachers about schedules and being willing to help out with issues even though I'm sure he has a long list already!

* * *

Tim stepped into a new role as 7-12 counselor. Since day 1, I have noticed him in the hallways as much as in his office. I have witnessed him with groups of students and one on one (teacher and students) working patiently to make this "machine" work well. He is positive minded and always displays a can-do attitude. He seems to make all ages feel welcome and important.

Brody Kelley

Brody was nominated by Mr. Putney
Brody noticed that a classmate had left his cell phone in the bin in my classroom at the end of the period on a Friday afternoon. Brody realized that his classmate wouldn't be able to access his cell phone until Monday and that, of course, could be problematic. Brody went out of his way to bring that classmate his phone before the end of the school day. It was refreshing to see the "other people matter" mindset on display!

Charles Madill

When milk was spilled in the cafeteria during lunch, Charles hopped right up and grabbed paper towels to mop the mess up. Way to think of others, Charles!

Alex Simmons

Alex was nominated by Mrs. Pierce
Alex brings such a positive energy to my room every day. I love his enthusiasm and love for learning.

Rhys Brossoit

Rhys was nominated by Mr. Durant
Rhys is a student/player who shows poise, respect and focus on and off the field.

Cory Ethridge

Cory was nominated by Mrs. Curry.
Cory does an excellent job in P.E. class. Cory actively participates with great enthusiasm. Cory is an excellent listener who does a great job following directions in class.

Seth LaRock

Seth has been nominated twice this year.

Mrs. Sovie - Seth volunteered to hold the door open for the elementary students and teachers during the fire drill. He showed the younger students what a role model should look like.

Mr. Putney - Seth LaRock demonstrates leadership and the "other people matter" mindset. Seth is consistently kind to classmates and teachers. He shows respect to let people know that they matter. I appreciate how Seth has a laser-like focus on any task provided. He leads by example with his effort and demeanor!

Parker Felt

Parker was nominated by Mrs. Curry.
Parker does an excellent job in P.E. class. He actively participates with good enthusiasm. He has excellent sportsmanship and plays by the rules. Parker is an excellent listener who does a nice job of following directions in class.

Saige Blevins & Isabelle Dietschweiler

Saige and Isabelle were nominated by Mrs. Lake and Mrs. Wood.
You invited a peer to work in your group in Algebra class and worked cooperatively to complete the assignment.

Tiana LaRose

Tiana was nominated by Ms. Leroux.
Tiana helped a friend during lunch off the floor who fell out of her chair.

Nick Hedrick

When another student spilled milk in the cafeteria during lunch, Nick got right up and brought paper towels over to pick up the mess. Way to help out a friend, Nick!

Stanley LaFave

Stanley was nominated by Ms. Bates.

Stanley recently demonstrated an "other people matter" mindset when he emailed his homeroom teacher, Ms. Bates, to let her know that he would not be in school the next day, so he wouldn't be able to do his class job which was feeding the fish. His actions also show great responsibility
