Our next menu, launching in mid-November(ish), is a tribute to our tasteful and dedicated DJs who bring so much more than "Hintergrund-musik vom Originaltonträger" (which is how GEMA defines their mission). No, the DJs of Electric Eel do as much as anyone to create the atmosphere our guests so often compliment. Each one brings their own signature style, sound and attitude. And for each one, our man Hannes has created an illustration and crafted a drink in tribute.

WerderWeinGlühPlatz 2022!

We'll be standing around in the cold once again this year with our third installment of WerderWeinGlühPlatz - a joyous alternative to the smelly Karlsruher Christkindlesmarkt we all know so well. That's right, we'll have our signature Hot Apple Punch, tried and true Glühtang Clan glühwein, possibly some food of some sort, more glühwein, whiskey, cognac, calvados - it's a very boozy affair, I assure you. Will we sing Christmas songs? It's hard to say, really. No one is going to stop you. At least I won't. So come and join us and stand around in the cold and drink hot wine infused with all manner of things. It will be a cracking good time. Every Friday and Saturday starting December 2nd until the 23rd.

Every Wednesday from 17:00 - 19:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 15:00 - 18:00, the Eel morphs into a dream-like oasis with discounted classic cocktails and other mainstay libations, such as the world famous Commodore's Choice with its pineapple rum, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur and bubbly ginger ale. It's just lip-smackin' good. Plain and simple. But maybe you're more of an old fashioned drinker, or every day at 18:00 you just have to have your dry martini - that's a thing, you know. Well, we've got that covered, too. Check out all the tasty drinks and get your posterior down to the Werderplatz and enjoy your inalienable right to happy hour every day of the week (at slightly different times). |

Heeeeeeeeere's "Winter Hours"!

As it happens every year when the weather cools, business gets verrrrrrrryyyyy sssslllooooow until at least 17:00. So, facing facts, we've now switched to what we refer to as "winter hours", even though it's very much still fall, or until very recently, even summer. But soon, I guess, it's gonna get cold. And we'll all be stuck inside again for far too long.
