LCS Veterans Day

Registration is still open for the LCS Veterans Day Presentation. The presentation will be held the morning of November 11th. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 and a presentation featuring our 2nd and 3rd graders along with the Lakeway Christian Academy Choir

Middle School Spelling Bee

The Middle School Spelling Bee is coming to Lakeway!

During the week of November 14th, all middle school English classes will conduct a class Spell Off, narrowing our spelling competitors down to three students per class. Those students will, in turn, attend the LCA Middle School Spelling Bee that will be held on Thursday, December 1st, at 3:45pm in the media center, narrowing it down to four students per grade level. The winners of our LCA Middle School Spelling Bee will go on to attend the ACSI Spelling Bee being hosted by Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville on Friday, January 13th, 2023.

There are 2 shipping options. If you ship to organization, the product will be shipped to the school the week after Thanksgiving. The other option is ship to recipient. There is a $9.95/box shipping fee but the deadline to order is Dec 11. Product will be shipped before Christmas.

Talented and Gifted Program Registration Open Now

Sign-ups for the Walters State Talented and Gifted Program (T.A.G.) for 2023 are open now!

This program consists of a wide variety of instructional courses for students in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades offered on Saturdays in the month of January 2023. The courses focus on hands-on learning and active verbal participation geared toward enriching gifted students. A breakdown of the program and the courses offered is available online on the Walters State website.

The deadline for registration is December 12, but course options are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner a student registers, the more likely they are to get their desired courses.
