Irrespective of which EEU campus we are worshiping at, during every Sunday service there is a ‘church school’ where your child’s faith is nourished and strengthened with age-appropriate materials by our trained teacher, Pat Roy. All children are welcome from JK to Grade 6. Youth that volunteer to help Pat on Sunday mornings will qualify for volunteer hours!  Email Pat for more information: patroy57@hotmail.ca

December 10th, 2022 at 7pm at EEU Eastminster Camps: Under a Winter's Moon
IUAWM Tour 2022 – East End United - Bulletin Copy – D4 - Oct25-2022 – LM-DS

On Saturday, December 10, we’re honoured to have Juno Award-winning Canadian artist Loreena McKennitt coming to our own East End United Church, to perform her Under A Winter’s Moon seasonal concert.

This old-fashioned concert of words and music blends Christmas and nature, Celtic and Indigenous all together. It will wrap around you like a warm blanket on a cold winter’s night. Blending the evocative, ethereal voice of Loreena McKennitt with the tender and nostalgic images so beautifully summoned through Cedric Smith’s narration of A Child’s Christmas in Wales, the evening’s pleasures will melt your heart and perhaps even add to your own Christmas memories. McKennitt will also be joined by her long-time musical companion, British cellist Caroline Lavelle, Celtic band The Bookends, percussionist Graham Hargrove, and Ojibway artist and flautist Jeffrey “Red” George.

McKennitt’s eclectic Celtic blend of pop, folk and world music has sold over 14 million albums worldwide, in 15 countries across four continents, and she has performed in some of the world’s most-respected and historic venues.
