CELEBRATE

GRADE 7/8 DAY was a resounding success as we welcomed over 250 Grade 7 and 8 students to spend a day at TDChristian. Over 50 parents and guardians also attended. GRADE 9 TAKE OUR KIDS TO WORK DAY was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about work!

The CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITIES FAIR provided Grade 11 and 12 students the opportunity to meet people from schools across North America.

Our FALL SPORTS SEASON is coming to a close. All that MAY be left are playoffs. We look forward to Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball seasons which are part of the WINTER SPORTS menu.

• PARENTS & GUARDIANS EVENING ON HIGH SCHOOL CULTURE: Thurs., Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. Discuss current concerns and issues with other TDChristian parents and guardians. Get advice from our panel of a pastor, doctor, police officer, and guidance person.Each family can earn TWO Parent/Guardian volunteer hours for attending. RSVP to marg@tdchristian.ca.
• The FALL MEMBERSHIP MEETING is at 7 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 24. All parents, guardians, supporters, and members will be sent a meeting package. Each family that has at least one parent or guardian present in-person earns TWO and a HALF Parent/Guardian volunteer hours. RSVP to marg@tdchristian.ca. Only members who attend in-person are permitted to vote.
• If you wish to view the FALL MEMBERSHIP MEETING via Zoom (NO volunteer hours) to see and hear what is happening, email marg@tdchristian.ca.

• ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL LITERACY TEST (OSSLT) is on November 29. It will be written by Grade 10 students, as well as some senior students. More information on how to prepare will follow via Edsby and in this document.

SHREK, THE MUSICAL: Dec. 14-17, 2022
Staged in our new Presentation Centre on Dec. 14, 15, and 17 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. along with a Dinner Theatre option which begins at 5 p.m. and includes a show thereafter on Fri., Dec. 16. CLICK HERE TO ORDER TICKETS.

EAST-WEST HOCKEY GAME: Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Be part of a game that during some of TDChristian's early decades was an annual battle between those east and west of Highway 27. Past and current students, and past and current parents are invited to play in this classic to be held at the Woodbridge Arena. If you wish to participate, email hoving@tdchristian.ca
   
60th YEAR CONCERT: Thursday, Apr. 20, 2023 at 7 p.m. (tentative) We are finalizing details for a venue and are excited to invite musicians from the past and present to celebrate God's gift of music throughout TDChristian's history.

The school will be open for viewing/tours. There will be an opportunity to mingle and celebrate with past and current TDChristian students, families, supporters, and staff members. We will have a program with speakers, videos, and more celebrating God's faithfulness to TDChristian through the years.
