Abortion as the Curriculum (Watch on YouTube)

The First Year Curriculum often strikes 1L students as separate from and unrelated to the most pressing legal issues of the day. The opposite, however, is true.

On October 19th, Columbia Law School faculty teaching 1L classes “taught their subject” through the lens of the right to abortion, showing how their subject is critical to the legal questions surrounding a right to abortion, reproductive autonomy, or sexual liberty.

  • Professor Maeve Glass, Property

  • Professor Olatunde Johnson, Civil Procedure Professor

  • Professor David Pozen, Constitutional Law Professor
