One of the most rewarding, fun, and empowering experiences I have participated in, was being a delegate at World Conference.  Meeting my church family members from around the world and learning how people of different countries see our process, experience the voting, appreciate the honor of having a say in church policy.  The dignity of being included in setting the direction of the church.  The sheer joy of fellowship.  The pride knowing my vote counts. My opinion matters.  If you’ve never had the chance, this is the time to be a part of something so much bigger.  This is the opportunity to interact with and experience the world-wide Community Of Christ.  This is the ministry you can be an important part of.  Join us in the sheer joy of Community of Christ.

Central Mission Center News:
Coat Drive

It is that time of year when we have to start preparing to help our neighbors stay warm throughout the winter. As the cold weather approaches us we are reminded of the importance to provide this ministry even during these hard times. We are reaching out to all of you for your love and support of this event. We hope you might be able to help support "Spread The Warmth" Central Mission Center Coat Drive.
There are a few ways to contribute to this event. You can choose eTithing through the link below. You can also send a check to the Mission Center directly or you can contact Carole Price at 816-797-9424.

Justice & Peace Action Team

Dividing Lines Tour – Sunday, 10-30-22, 2:00, meet in the Good Shepherd parking lot, ride the mission center bus and listen to a guided tour in Kansas City centered on racism and red lining.

New Ways To Give

Included above is a QR code. This takes you to the eTithing.org main page. You can print this in congregational bulletins or add to e-newsletters. There will be different codes released for Giving Tuesday and World Conference as we get closer to those events, and they will go directly to those portals.

Additionally, SecureGive now has an app for both Android and iPhones. Once you download it, type in your username and password if you already have an account. If you don’t yet have an account, click the link “Find Your Organization” and then type in Community of Christ. “My Home Congregation” can be used if you hold membership where you want to give AND your congregation doesn’t have their own portal; there are also options for “Support for Ukraine”, “Bridge of Hope”, “World Church” and then congregations who pay to have their own portals. This is a great option for occasional donations – for instance if visitors want to give but don’t carry cash. Otherwise setting up recurring transactions are easiest, and can be set up and managed through the app.  This can also be advertised in your bulletins and announcements as an option for giving.
